Primary things to consider:
Size – If you’re doing something like a bathroom remodel, chances are you’ll need more weight then size. Something like a 10 or 15 yard dumpster would probably be great. If on the other hand you are cleaning out the house and looking to get rid of couches, tables, and maybe some odds and ends, then you generally can’t go wrong with a 20 yard, but a 15 yard may get the job done. For extreme situations, such as a whole house clean up you may even need more than one 15 or 20 yard container. If you are cleaning out a house or apartment and planning to trash more then 2 or 3 bedrooms worth of stuff – you may consider getting the 30 or 40 yard option. If booked up front you can save a lot in the overall cost of your project.
Weight – We include 1 ton of disposal per 10 yards of dumpster for a large majority of our rentals. This will generally be perfect for a residential job, but if the dumpster does go over it’s allowed weight guidelines… Don’t worry! We simply ask that you pay for your extra weight. Our standard rate of disposal is $110 a ton, but we’ll round it to the next tenth and may offer discounted rates on disposal depending on the area and material you are removing.
Length of Time Needed – Some people will need the dumpster for one day, some will want it for a week, some even want them for a year. In order to best serve our customers we have prepared several different options to best suit your needs. Any rental that goes beyond the time period included will be billed at $15 a day for as long as the customer would like it, but any time beyond the initial booking can not be guaranteed unless reserved in advance. Longer term rentals are designed to be better value to you. Selecting the right length at the time of booking will save you money in the long run. Take your time and book those extra couple days… most find it’s worth it!
How early should I reserve? – The simple answer is: The sooner the better. We try our best to have as much inventory on hand as possible, but reality is that everyone has some trash to get rid of. The moment you place your reservation we allocate a dumpster to have for your project. Generally you can place an order and have it same day, but if you know the project is coming I would recommend you place the order at least a week in advance. This allows us to organize your drop off in the most convenient way possible for you.
